**SCARC May, 2008 Meeting**

     Field Day Is Coming Soon!

Please join the Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:00 pm.

The Field chairman Mike Siwula K6LDK and Danny White W6DDW will be planning our Field Day during this meeting.

We will meet in the Century Room at Santa Clarita City Hall, 23920 Valencia Blvd., Santa Clarita, CA.

The Board of Directors Meeting begins at 6:15pm, followed by the regular meeting at 7:00 pm.

May SCARC Amateur Radio Testing

The May SCARC Amateur Radio testing will be conducted by Ron Klein K6VPV and our VEC team on Saturday May 17 at 8am.

The tests will be given in the Orchard room of Santa Clarita City Hall.

If you wish to take a test then you need to contact Ron before the test session.

This is so that he can have the necessary forms and testing materials ready for you and

so that you can be informed on what you need to bring with you.

You can find Ron’s contact information under “Testing” or Board of Directors as Treasurer.

This is the last test for Amateur Extra before the question pool changes July 1.

T-HUNT

The SCARC monthly T-Hunt will resume on May 24 in the parking lot of La Mesa Jr. High school at 26623 May Way.
