**SCARC May, 2013 Meeting**

Please join the Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Field Day is coming! Keep June 22 & 23 open for Field Day, our meeting will be dedicated to planning for this great event. The meeting will be held at the Santa Clarita Senior Center 22900 Market Street Santa Clarita, CA 91321. The location is several blocks west of Newhall Ave on Market St. in Newhall. We will be starting the meeting at 7:00pm. The Board of Directors Meeting will be at 6:30pm.

 

Amateur Radio Testing

Our next test session will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 at the Santa Clarita Senior Center room A6, 22900 Market Street Santa Clarita, CA 91321. If you or someone you know wants to upgrade their amateur radio license or wants to take the Technician Class License test, please contact Ron Klein K6VPV. May T-HUNT

The SCARC monthly T-Hunt will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013. Talk-in will be on the W6JW repeater 146.79 MHz. We start by meeting in the parking lot of La Mesa Jr. High school at 26623 May Way. This is South off of Via Princessa past the southern end of Whites Canyon Rd. After we gather everyone checks in and divides into teams.
